About Us
Back in 2010, a beautiful partnership blossomed between Insight and School District #58, dedicated to offering a remarkable choice for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 with diverse learning needs and social and emotional regulation challenges. Together, we embarked on a journey of customized learning, where each student's interests and strengths are at the heart of their educational experience. Since that time we have made several partnerships within the community and expanded our connections to include opportunities with SD #73 in Kamloops and the EBUS program from SD #91.
At Insight, we take pride in cultivating an environment where connections and emotional health are a priority, preparing students to engage fully in our academic program. Our focus is on providing students with everything they need to be able to thrive as critical thinkers and problem solvers in the future. With the support of district-provided teachers and our multidisciplinary team of Insight educators and specialists, we offer a plethora of engaging methods to explore and conquer the BC Ministry of Education curriculum.
The results we've witnessed in our Education program have been truly heartwarming. Students who have joined us have experienced increased attendance, reduced anxiety, and an eagerness to showcase their learning in creative and exciting ways. Our unique approach to education provides students with a sense of belonging, safety, and security which has empowered our students to engage and excel in their education.
Insight's Education Program is designed with a low student-to-educator ratio, ensuring a flexible and nurturing environment that naturally prepares students to become successful, resilient, and emotionally secure individuals. We are deeply passionate about fostering lifelong learning and inspiring our students to make meaningful contributions to their communities.
